Modern Technology

Future-proof your home with professionally installed modern electrical technology.

Today's homes are smarter, more connected, and more power-hungry than ever. From charging your electric vehicle overnight to controlling your lights with your voice, modern technology requires proper electrical infrastructure to work reliably and safely. We handle the wiring, circuitry, and installation so your smart home actually works the way it should.

EV Charging Station Installation

Charge your electric vehicle at home with a Level 2 charging station that delivers a full charge overnight. We install chargers for every EV make — Tesla, Ford, Rivian, Chevy, BMW, and more. Our service includes a panel capacity assessment, dedicated 240V circuit installation, and charger mounting in your garage or driveway.

  • Level 2 (240V) charger installation for all EV makes
  • Panel capacity assessment and upgrade if needed
  • Indoor garage and outdoor driveway mounting options

Smart Doorbells & Security Cameras

Wireless doorbells and cameras are convenient, but hardwired installations deliver more reliable performance with no battery changes and no Wi-Fi dropouts. We install and wire Ring, Nest, Arlo, and other smart security devices — running power to the optimal locations and ensuring clean, weatherproof installations.

  • Hardwired power for Ring, Nest, and other brands
  • Optimal camera placement with clean wire routing
  • Weatherproof outdoor installations

Smart Home & Lighting Automation

Smart switches, dimmers, outlets, and whole-home automation systems need proper wiring to work reliably. We install smart devices from Lutron, Leviton, and other leading brands — ensuring they have the neutral wires, proper load ratings, and stable connections that off-the-shelf solutions often overlook. Control your lights, fans, and outlets from your phone or with your voice.

  • Smart switch and dimmer installations (Lutron, Leviton, etc.)
  • Neutral wire additions for older homes
  • Voice assistant and hub integration wiring
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Not always, but often yes. A Level 2 EV charger typically requires a 40-50 amp dedicated circuit. If your panel is already near capacity (common in older 100A panels), we may recommend a panel upgrade first. We assess your panel as part of every EV charger quote.
Generally yes. Hardwired doorbells don't need battery changes, deliver more consistent video quality, and are more reliable in extreme Texas heat. If you already have doorbell wiring, installation is straightforward. If not, we can run new low-voltage wire to the location.
Many smart switches require a neutral wire that older homes may not have in every switch box. We can run neutral wires to the boxes that need them, or recommend smart switches designed to work without a neutral. Either way, we make sure your smart devices work properly.
